When I lived at home our Sunday family tradition consisted of church, brunch and the occasional sunday sports game(s). Living in San Diego, Sunday tradition is what I miss most! As a kid I would make up almost every excuse in the book (if you can think of one I probably tried it) to get out of going to church and having to spend the day with my family, keep in mind as a teenager having to spend your weekend time with your family was so NOT cool, but now I couldn’t think of anything else I would want to do on a Sunday afternoon! While I was home we went to our favorite breakfast spot in Alamo, The Peasant’s Courtyard! Before we even ordered breakfast we finished off two huge cheddar jalapeño scones. I wasn’t a fan of them until recently… I decided to give them a try yesterday morning with this recipe and fell even more in love!
