This weekend turned out to be absolutely gorgeous. Actually, a little too nice, because on Friday and Saturday we got a little sun burned. On Saturday, we went on an eight mile bike ride to taste test all the best Chili Recipes in San Diego at the Ocean Beach Chili Festival. The weather was bright and sunny and absolutely perfect, so we hung around OB and enjoyed lemonade (my favorite), chili and acai bowls, while sitting on the beach watching the surfers do their ‘thang. Sunday was low-low-key; we enjoyed making brunch and then casually took our time to eat while we watched the Olympic trials. After brunch, we piled on the sunscreen, ran some errands, and then headed off to the beach to Kapture and take in the gorgeous sunset. I was gifted this free-flowing, sheer, light weight, whimsical dress by Forever21 and it couldn’t have been more perfect for an afternoon stroll on the beach.
