You know that you are truly relaxing when you haven’t touched a computer in over four days !! This week will hopefully be spent on the couch with my sisters catching up on SVU marathons followed by a little after Christmas shopping and hopefully ice skating and a trip to the snow. Happy Holidays from my family to yours! Tomorrow I will post a tutorial on my favorite beauty tip for this holiday season.
These cookies are to die for, definitely a must try this holiday season. I came across the recipe babysitting one day. The recipe is found on the back of the Nestle butterscotch bag, the combination of oatmeal and butterscotch is genius and always leaves your taste tester coming back for “just one more cookie”!

I am finally home, and it feels so good. I walked in yesterday to a wood burning fire, treats in the oven, Christmas lights, and a fresh smelling Christmas tree. After being picked up from the airport, my boyfriend and I decided to do a little Christmas shopping followed by Happy Hour at PF Changs. The weather has definitely been a reality check (good thing I brought lots of coats), but there was no better way to end the day than watching Christmas with the Kranks by the fire, bundled up with tea and blankets.

According to friends and family, men are always the hardest to shop for, which is why last week I sent out a text to all my guy friends asking them what they are hoping to receive this holiday season or if they had any gift guide suggestions. Unfortunately after receiving either inappropriate ideas (not featured) or way to expensive items, I decided I would come up with a few of my own gifts that I think a typical brother, boyfriend, uncle, cousin, friend, dad or grandpa might enjoy!
