This white skort from Zara that I purchased last April quickly became a favorite in my closet that I went back and had my sister buy the black one so that we could switch anytime! This skort can be easily dressed up or down. The sturdy fabric is great because it rarely wrinkles which holds up great when traveling. I must admit that I love the black more so than the white because I can wear it without the fear of getting it super dirty. So if you plan on purchasing this skirt definitely purchase a color that you will wear often!

Shirt – ZARA // Trousers – // Shoes – // Necklace – ZARA

Red is usually a color I steer clear of, but when I spotted this backless beauty on the ZARA sale rack back in February I HAD to have it. I love the neckline, texture and ruffle detail on the front of the shirt and of course love the low cut back. For the warm Memorial weekend… I decide to pair it with black trousers and red tennis for a kicked back vibe. As much as I love wearing almost anything with a heel on it, sneaks are always a great alternative for a busy weekend that involves lots of walking.

I have always been in love with long maxi skirts. I love the way they fit, feel and flow in the wind. I have had my eye on a few around the web, but since (most days) I like instant gratification I decided that  “needed” to have this floral maxi from Zara at that very moment I laid eyes on it. I love the floral watercolors on the skirt and figured that it would be a great purchase for this Summer. Below are a few floral skirts I have had my eye on over the past few weeks. Shop them below.

This skort from Zara is my absolute favorite. I purchased it last summer in San Diego and have gotten so much use out of it. They had multiple colors and I am kicking myself for not purchasing them all. I love how versatile it can be… last summer I wore them with my bathing suit for a day at the beach paired with a floppy hat and sandals and this past week I work them to a nice lunch in the city and decided to dress them up a bit with my new favorite black heels from JustFab.

I never have been drawn to cheetah print (even though it is one trend that has been around for decades), but the other day my Grandma looked so hip at dinner in her cheetah blouse that it finally pushed me to throw on this cheetah blouse that has been sitting in my closet for months! I always admire people who are able to wear crazy animal prints and rock them. The light material has been great during the warm weather and I love how it instantly adds edge to an outfit.
