Shop it like it’s hot – Boohoo.com

Floral Romper – Boohoo.com | Sweater – Forever21 | Wedges – “Nicole” ShoeMint

Before class the other day I was reading People StyleWatch magazine and I came across one of my favorite online boutiques in the magazine. Boohoo.com has so many amazing affordable pieces that range from flirty and feminine to boho chic. Yesterday morning the marine layer was thicker than ever but by mid-day the gloominess wore off. This adorable lightweight, floral romper has been hanging in my closet for the past week and I have anxiously been waiting for a nice Spring day to be able to wear it. A colorful, comfortable romper from boohoo.com is calling your name. The material is free-flowing and the floral print makes this romper a perfect Spring-Summer staple garment. Head over to boohoo.com to purchase yours now.

Theresa - I always love the look of a casual tee paired with a dress, but I have been too scared to try it. You make it look so effortless and chic. I think I’ll see which of my dresses I could make this work with!

Rompin’ around town

Jumpsuit – Anthropologie | Pumps – ShoeMint | Jacket – Forever 21 | Bangles – Forever21

I purchased this black jumpsuit while I was home over Spring Break. I had some time to kill before an appointment so I foolishly went into Anthropologie. I say foolishly because Anthropologie is on the list of stores where you can’t walk out empty handed just like Target, Zara, World Market and Crate and Barrel. Generally, I walk out with a new coffee cup, a set of bowls or a new candle but this time I walked away with something that has been on my “must buy” list for years now. I found this gem in the sale section, it was originally $200 but I scored it for a whoppin $50 bucks… so obviously I HAD to buy it. I am absolutely in love with it! This classy romper is elegant and sophisticated and extremely comfortable and versatile. It can be worn to lunch with your Grandma (who by the way was inspired to purchase her own black jumpsuit), a night out with the girls, graduation ceremonies or parties, or even to an important business meeting. Add a vibrantly colorful accessory (…aka shoes) or no accessories at all either way, the options are endless.

YEL-LOW

Dress – Lush | Jean Jacket – Levis | Shoes – Converse |Wicker Basket – Forever21 | Sunnies – Target

Farmer’s Markets’ are a HUGE part of my weekly routine. Generally every Wednesday after class I head straight for the Ocean Beach Farmers Market (which is my favorite) to pick up my fresh flowers for the week. These trips every so often tend to involve the purchasing of cookies or mini donuts. But, this week I decided to divert from the usual routine. Tuesday, my roommate Kira and I decided to bike down to the Pacific Beach Farmer’s Market to check it out. Although the atmosphere was a tad different than Ocean Beach the array of flowers were magnificent and the little old man strumming his guitar playing Frank Sinatra was a refreshing and welcomed change. I decided to wear a flirty yellow dress paired with my converse and cropped jean jacket Oh. and I of course couldn’t leave the house without my wicker basket/bag that my Grandma gave me last year for Easter.

Lulus.com Beach Dress

Dress – LuLu*s (Purchase Here) | Hat – Boutique in Danville

The most common mis-conception about San Diego is that it is always 80 degrees and sunny. BUT really we are just like any old town, we have good days and bad days although our bad days might be the east coasts’ good days, the gloomy, windy weather is never fun. Saturday morning started off with a cup of coffee and a Friday Night Lights morning marathon (my sister got my mom and I hooked over the weekend). By the time mid-day rolled around the temperature reached up to 78 degrees which makes for a perfect beach day. Saturday night ended with cocktails and ahi poke accompanied by a stellar sunset at my moms favorite place down here in SD. I sported my new Lulus.com dress with a wide brim hat, beach waves (tutorial here) and no-fuss makeup for an afternoon on the sand. This dress is so comfortable… the cutouts and open back give off a sexy vibe while the flow-y t-shirt material achieves the boho beach chic look.  It is the perfect cover up for any pool or beach party this summer and spring. Head over to Lulus.com to purchase it.
