Last week, as I was packing to fly home for Easter, I noticed a large watermelon in my fridge. I knew that I had to either throw it away, or eat it because it was on the verge of rotting. Consuming the entire watermelon was out of the picture. So, since the weather is so warm & sunny in San Diego, I decided to use this enormous watermelon to make agua fresca. Using my watermelon as an ice- cold, refreshing beverage, was the perfect match.
