Auntie Shell’s Pumpkin Squares

Throughout the holiday’s, my family always prepares  several  family recipes that we serve every year.  So needless to say,  over time  these recipes have become part of our family tradition during the Holiday season.  Pumpkin squares have definitely become a staple treat and  a tradition on our dessert table every Thanksgiving.  My aunt makes the best pumpkin squares so last year I decided to ask her for the recipe so I could make some while I was away at college to kick off the holiday season. Now… we try to keep this recipe top secret but I decided that I would share it with all of you so that you could bring something delicious to Thanksgiving dinner this year! I am not the biggest pumpkin fan in the world but these are absolutely delicious and you can barely taste the pumpkin in them! To add extra yumminess to this moist, delectable dessert, you can double the cream cheese frosting recipe.
