{ New bag that holds my books with some style }

Last night was rough…. for some reason my computer decided to throw a temper tantrum and for about an hour. For a second I wasn’t sure if I would be able to share the things that made me smile this week, but after praying to the technology gods Ms. Macbook was up and running again. I think my computer was just telling me to take a break (aka eat a cookie and enjoy some coffee ice cream) ! This week was rough in the sense that I went to Steve’s Gravity class on Tuesday and ever since then I haven’t been able to lift my hands over my head. I have never done some many pull-ups, push-ups and squats in my life.

The past couple of days, the sunshine in “sunny” San Diego has decided to take a vacation. I haven’t been able to dash out of the house without something to keep me warm. This clothing item usually consists of an ugly sweatshirt due to the fact that I have not completely unpacked my closet. So when I received this sweater from American Living by jcpenny I was thrilled. This sweater is so comfortable and perfect for those days when running out of the house!

During the move I decided to pack up and old breakfast in bed tray, not realizing how much use I was actually going to get out of it. This try is not only great for eating in bed but also doing homework in bed! Due to the trays original color (light wood finish) I would store it under my bed and bring it out only when needed. Over the weekend I decided that I could paint the tray to match my room, so I went down to Home Depot and picked up a can of black spray paint. Not only will I get more use out of the tray, but it can sit on my bed and look like it belongs! There is no need to store it under the bed anymore.

Last week was utter chaos! I spent all day and night catching up on school work as well as organizing my office space and room! I posted pictures from Day 1, Day 2 and Day 3 from fashion week so today I thought I would share Day 4. Day 4 was extremely exciting I was able to meet the designer Custo Dalmau while backstage before the Custo Barcelona show.  Here are a few pictures and a video from Day 4.

While un-loading boxes as well as cleaning out my garage, I found this cute heart shaped waffle maker along with some other fun kitchen toys that I can’t wait to use! So yesterday morning I woke up quite early and decided that it was a perfect morning to start the day off with homemade waffles and a cup of coffee (see pancake post here). I was lazy and used the Bisquick recipe on the side of the box, but decided to add some fresh strawberries from the Ocean Beach Farmer’s Market (post here) to make them even more tasty!
